John Thornton (ASE Master Auto & L1)
John is the owner of Pro-Tec Auto in Naperville, Illinois and has been in the business for 24 years. John is a monthly contributor to “Underhood Service” magazine. He also teaches driveability and IM240 training classes in the Naperville area, as well as ABS and electronic transmission classes in Chicago and Milwaukee.
Craig VanBatenburg (ASE Master Auto & L1)
Craig is the owner of Van Batenburg’s Garage, Inc.—a high-tech service center specializing in Honda and Acura. He has been the owner and lead technician for over 24 years. Craig delivers technical seminars nationally and is also the owner of Automotive Career Development Center (ACDC). Craig is also a contributing writer for Motor Age, Auto-Inc., NESSARA’s News-Brief and writes an informative consumer newsletter.
Jonathan Riggle (ASE CMAT, CMM, CTT, L1 STS, SAE and iATN)
Jon, a 25 year veteran diagnostic technician owns Phoenix-based High Impact Education in addition to being a contract instructor for major automotive aftermarket tool and equipment suppliers. Jon is part of the PWR Training group and is also the Host of iATN's popular TechNight, live conferencing events.
Mark Warren (AMI, iATN, ASE Master, L1)
Mark is part of the PWR Training group based in Tucson, Arizona. He serves as a trainer and consultant for AASP and ASC and is regularly involved in policy discussions with the EPA, CARB, BAR and NASTF. Mark is past President of ASA and STS and was involved in the development of STS from the very first meeting.
Randy Bernklau
Randy is a certified instructor for BC Automotive Services, former contributing editor for Import Service Magazine, contributing writer for Motor Magazine, OBD II consultant, curriculum developer and shop owner/technician. Randy has over 20 years experience in technical repair and 10 years training experience in the automotive field.
David Hobbs (ASE, iATN, STS)
Dave grew up in his family's auto electric business in Kokomo Indiana. After 15 years as a technician, he joined Delphi Delco Electronics in 1989 as a technical adviser and training instructor. Dave has also been an instructor for Ivy Tech College, Sun Electric, MACS Worldwide, and Auto Video Inc.

Dick Baumgart
Dick has worked for Valvoline/Ashland for 16 years. He is currently the Technical Director for their Chemical brand. He is responsible for automotive aftermarket chemicals which includes approximately 80 products at this time.
Jim Linder (ASE, iATN, STS, ASA, ATMC) (pictured on the right)
Jim’s automotive experience started in a gas station in the late 60’s and has spanned through over thirty years of automotive service and training. Jim started training electrical and tune up for Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis in 1976, moved to Allen Testproducts as Training Manager in 1983 and started his own company (Linder Technical Services) in 1991. 
Doug Garriott (ASE, iATN, STS) 
Doug Garriott (pictured on the left) has been in the automotive field since 1980 and has worked for LTS since 1997. Doug spends countless hours on research and development each year in the LTS fuel injector lab and is known as the Injector “Wizard”. In addition, Doug has had over 15 years training experience in the automotive field.
